Howard F. Birnbaum 69, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, August 29, 2005. Mr. Birnbaum received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and his MBA from Indiana University. He was Associate Director of Special Products: Operation and Fulfillment Services at Bertelsmann Music Group (formerly R.C.A.) and retired after 37 years of service. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity. Mr. Birnbaum is survived by his loving wife, Betty A. Milan Birnbaum; his children, Lenard A. (Maria) Birnbaum and Daniele (Chad) Thomas; four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, Aryton and Fletcher; his mother, Ann Birnbaum; and his brother, Norman B. Birnbaum. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Aaron-Ruben-Nelson Mortuary. Burial will follow at Beth-El Zedeck North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the City of Hope or American Cancer Society.
