Tests, TVs, and Mr. Dyson

We'd decided to get a new TV while we could 'cos the TV we had was over 15 years old, smeared anything orange, and had been repaired twice. I was afraid that it'd crap out on us and then we couldn't afford to get it fixed or to get a different TV. We found a widescreen HDTV, same size as our old TV, for a little over $700 at Circuit City. Nice. Afterward, I went and got a new vacuum cleaner at Best Buy 'cos our old one didn't suck as much as it used to, and it was driving Aunt Tudi mad. As
_willowmyst can attest, Aunt Tudi is rabid about vacuuming. So I got her a Dyson "Animal" vacuum, made specifically for folks with a multiple-beast household. I think we qualify. It has a lifetime guarantee and we don't have to buy bags for it, so it'll pay for itself within the year.
Also went to the doc and saw Lisa. She suggested that we do some tests to see if I might have Fibromyalgia. I'm going to schedule them for a couple of weeks from now. Then we'll see if that's what's wrong with me. If it isn't, then I guess we'll go from there, but I must find out why I hurt all the time and why I'm so perpetually exhausted. I just want to know, even if they can't do anything for me. Knowing is winning half the battle right there. I'm tired of being in the dark.
We're off to Asheville tomorrow. Diane will be going with us, but
clumsycake must stay at home and wait for the carpet man from Lowes to come and stretch her carpet. Sounds to me like she's being visited by Peter the Meter Reader, but that's just me.
