I'm down in them and I can't exactly pinpoint why.
I went to see Lew tonight. We talked for a very long time. Found peace in each others' arms. I cried, he comforted. He snoozed and I sat vigil.
But there is something wrong. Maybe it's because he hardly contacts me anymore. Maybe I'm being too needy at the moment. I don't know. Maybe I'm just going through a period of depression and it will pass.
He'll be going to Florida next week and I'm worried that he's travelling alone. He asked me to go with him but, because of the crap way my workplace is doing, there's no chance I could get the time off. Life can be unfair. I think we really need some time to ourselves, but there doesn't seem to be a way to achieve that.
If I could play the harmonica right now, I'd sing the Blues.
