"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stomping on a human face -- forever." - George Orwell

I had to let this one stand alone. My score is first, then the score of the person in whose journal I found the quiz. Both are hilarious, and the chosen photos bespeak a deeper political wisdom than perhaps many Americans are uncomfortable with acknowledging.

Hopefully, this will be a great day and an even better weekend. Llew is coming over early and I found out I don't have to work tomorrow. We have the entire evening, all of tomorrow, and Sunday to spend together before he heads out to Florida. I'm planning on it being very special and dedicated the optimum level of time to us as we both need some "us time" desperately.

I feel a lot better about his Florida trip now that Deb will be going with him. Just hoping that it won't be a problem for him to contact me during his absence. Seems Deb is still a little insecure when it comes to my presence in Llew's life, and I can understand that, since she is not necessarily a poly individual. Even though Llew and I come first with each other, neither of us want to hurt or slight anyone else we may become involved with. It's all about the love, man.

Looks like my plans with [livejournal.com profile] obie and [livejournal.com profile] ravien have been postponed because Obie has contracted a cold. Hopefully, it is just a cold and not the plague from hell, which has been skulking around these parts for the past couple of months and clings to its victims, among whom I can be counted, like a cheap leisure suit. Either way, I hope Obie feels better soon....but I bet he's cute when he's all sick and pitiful.

Speaking of cheap leisure suits, I was going through my pictures to find photos of myself at various ages and stages of weight loss/gain. I came across a picture of me at age 9 or so and a blind man could tell I was a child of the 70's. I'm wearing a green beret with a flowing, pointy-tipped blouse, and pants that are so loud, they deserve their own radio station. Once it's scanned, I'll post it here just to give any hapless readers seizures from seeing the ungodly colour combinations.

Speaking of pictures, I also came across photos from our hafla dating back to 1998. Found some really good photos of [livejournal.com profile] asim doing his graceful raks for all to behold in wonderment. Also found a pic of Xavier and me. What a cutie he was. He always reminded me of John Rhys-Davies. In any event, the church in which we held this hafla will never be the same, I can guarantee you that.

So, to anyone reading this, here's to Valentines Day. Like I said, it's all about the love, man! Have a happy one and may the Nookie Gods take a liking to you and blow you up real good.

Yeah, it's Friday, and I'm in a mellow mood. Four more hours of Feudal Servitude and the weekend is mine ~ woooot!
In the meantime, here are some quizzes I've collected over the past week.
