Friday Blues
Nov. 14th, 2003 03:24 pmMy moon has hit and I am now in the throes of contracting my obligatory monthly migraine. Foo.....
This is my last Telesuck-free weekend. Cathy, Diane, Steph, Aunt Tudi, and I were planning on having a Girls' Night Out on Saturday. We were going to sit around, talk about unmentionable matters, eat snacks and other unhealthy treats, and watch movies. I was planning on renting "28 Days Later" and scaring the hell out of everyone, myself included. None of this may happen now, though. Diane's best friend's mom killed herself, so Diane may have to stay with her friend over the weekend. Needless to say, it's not going to be any fun for her, bless her heart... And Stephanie can't find a babysitter for the girls. Mickey was supposed to get them this weekend, but he as to work. Bleh.
I may rent "28 Days Later" anyway and scare the hell out of Aunt Tudi and Llew. If I'm going down, I'm taking people with me!
Llew was planning on getting Billy to take him to Dacusville to get his wing. Since Billy has gone with Melanie to Tennessee, Llew is looking into other alternatives. The #1 alternative at this moment is for Llew to teach me how to drive a stick shift tomorrow and I'll take him to Dacusville on Sunday to haul the wing back. I'm actually looking forward to the opportunity to learn Straight Drive. It'll save me tons of moolah when I trade cars again in the far distant future! Of course, all this is dependent on whether or not Billy left the keys to the truck and the gate at Dacusville before he headed off to Tennessee. If he didn't leave the keys, Llew is SOL...again.
I feel so badly for him. The worry about his financial situation is creeping in on him and I fear that it will pull him into a depression. I just wish there was something I could do! For now, though, the only thing I can do is check my temper and hold my tongue while I support him the best way I can.
After work, he and I are going to the house to see if we can find those keys. Then I'm coming home, taking an Imitrex, and ~ who knows! ~ I may even cry myself to sleep.
