Damn that Virgo Responsibility!

OK, I spoke with Llew last night. As an aside, we had a congenial and productive conversation. It's slow going, but may be moving in a positive direction. My Zen outlook is still in full swing though.

Anyways, he said he was going to work today despite there being over 8 inches of snow lying about. Since he's an experienced Yankee who should have no problem with the roads, I'm now thinking maybe I should ask him to give me a lift to work.

Why can't I just say "fuck it!" and call the Feudal Mistress to inform her I will not be attending The Pit today? Well, I have Monday and Tuesday as vacation days already. How can I prepare for those if I'm not present today?

No Rest for the Wiccan

Yeah, I'm at work. Hardly no one else is, which means I get to tell the clamouring multitudes that their orders won't ship today, sorry!

OK, so I called Marie at Telehell and she's going to have our manager come and pick my sorry butt up tonight and haul it to work, then bring me back home in the morning. So, not only am I going to have to work tonight (which is OK since I really need the dough), but I'm going to be at that deserted office without wheels in the event of an emergency.
