My desk is a mess and my phone is blinking with messages I cannot access because the storms have knocked out our phone mail.

I can handle my email still being wacky. At least I can access it now. And I can handle the nuclear holocaust that is my work station.

But that weeeeeenking and bleeeeeenking will be the final blow to what little sanity remains clinging desperately to my Swiss Cheese brain.

Mighty Goddess help me by distracting my attention from the incessant little red light on my phone.

This was sent to me via email. I find it particularly compelling.
Dubya's Brain Power )

In other Dubya news, I heard this morning that our elections may be "postponed indefinitely" in the event of a major terrorist threat or attack. How fucking convenient. I bet if Dubya didn't feel threatened by the Democratic ticket, no such rumblings would be made.

Hmmm...wonder what he'll blow up this time in order to keep his stolen office?

Monsoon

It's raining.

It's storming.

The storm is right over us and the thunder is exploding.

People in the office are trying to cover their panic with laughter and loud voices.

Lightning is inviting us to dance with it as it crackles through the building.

It is for this very reason I could not live in Southern Cali. Every day was the same while I was there: haze in the morn, clear skies and sun for the day, haze in the evening. Most folk would find this ideal and dream of living there.

But I could not live without my storms..... Even though I must endure the ungodly humidity here, it's a worthy trade-off for the experience of the Crone's Tempest, Nature's Great Fury and her orgasmic release of water upon us.

I think I've already taken this, but who's keeping track?
