Another random post.
This is stuff I've been meaning to write about, but just haven't.
Nature Will Always PrevailDay before yesterday, the Feudal Mistress and I got into a heavy debate about animals that was triggered by the story about that poor tiger being shot full of holes in Florida. Her argument in support of the tiger being murdered was that he was in a highly populated area and could have "hurt a child." Of course, this didn't wash with me. Why do people continue to think that playing the "child card" will have any sort of affect on me? Me, of all people!!? Anyway, I told her that I didn't agree with people keeping exotic pets in the first place, that it was in opposition to Nature's Way and, if humans continued to allow their fellows to keep such animals, then we should all be held accountable for the consequences that may result.
( more animal activism )With that, she made some weak comment about how weeds always grow, but you can't get your perennials to do a thing, tittered shallowly, then walked off.
JUDGE JUDYYesterday, Llew got a letter from the associate producer of Judge Judy's courtroom show. Apparently, Llew's small claim against his former landlord has been brought to their attention and the producer wants Llew to contact him. If he does and the case is accepted, provided the landlord agrees to it as well, I could be heading out Los Angeles with my bunkie. ....hmmm...I wonder if L.A. has 7-11's.
It would be too cool to be in Judy's court, though. I think she's just a big ole hoot and
even wrote a Darth Maul story set in her courtroom. Nothing would please me more than to be in her presence when she screams "NUDNICK!" or "BALONEY!" at some useless tackhead.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.
