God....Time....Profound Friends

The soul who took over Bridget's job when she moved on to a different pasture (not necessarily greener...I mean we are talking about the music biz here...) is an incredible individual named Mike. We hit it off pretty quickly, mainly because he has a brain, a sense of humour, and is actually a joy with whom to work (unilke many of the knuckle-draggers I've encountered in my 17 some odd years here). He's one of the few people to whom I enjoy talking on the phone because we apparently established a firm comfort zone early on in our working relationship.

Not only that, but he knows about and likes Shriekback, is a Child of the 80's, helped out on promoting ELO's Zoom album, is listening to the Cure as I write this, and he helps to satisfy my Dave Matthews fetish whenever possible. How cool is that?

Well, he just got even more groovy when he sent me the following thoughts that were rummaging around in his brain. He thought enough of me to share them with me and ask for my opinion, which I gladly gave since I never pass up a chance to give my opinion, no matter how skewed. Then he gave me permission to copy them here for posterity's sake. Without further ado, I present my profound friend's Friday thoughts:
