Dec. 29th, 2004 07:44 amAunt Tudi has the plague, so bad that she's gurgling when she breathes. I'm staying home with her today and will be trying to persuade her to go on to the doctor.

Houses of the Healing
Dec. 29th, 2004 10:17 pmAunt Tudi is feeling better. This afternoon her fever broke and she decided that she was hungry, so I fed her. Afterward, she tottered off for a shower since she had fever-head, that pristine condition wherein the hair sticks to your head in unseemly patterns thanks to the sweat from a fever.
I gave her a foot rub and a back rub, which made her feel even better.
She refused to go to the doctor, but promised to go if things got worse. She's no longer gurgling, so I guess a doctor won't be needed this time 'round. Colour me sooooo relieved.
I've gotten addicted to that show "Lost," and have now gotten Aunt Tudi hooked on it as well. This show really rocks in so many ways and I believe that Locke is my favourite character. Not sure why yet or if my tastes will change. I notice quite a few actors from different shows and movies and can suspend my disbelief with each of them except for Dominic Monaghan. For me, he will always be Meriadoc Brandybuck and that's just how it has to be.
I must crawl into bed now. There's no getting around the fact that I must be at work tomorrow....unless, of course, Aunt Tudi wakes up worse off and unable to take care of herself. If that happens, then the Feudal Mistress can suck my big round honky butt. Family comes first.
