Deep Gratitude

falkenna has sent me two files of her suggestions/corrections for The Chalice. She's my literary angel, of that there is no doubt. I knew she'd question my playing fast and loose with the historical points at the beginning of the story and, by joe, she did! Of course, I'll take her suggestions about that under advisement. I'll have to keep the Black Death in the story though because, historically, the vampire plague coincided with the Great Mortality, according to my Mentor by Proxy, Leonard Wolf. I'll be drawing from her suggestions for the second draft, though, and will work it out somehow.

Words really can't express how thankful I am for falkenna's presence in my life. She's a wonderful friend, teacher, adviser, and confidant. I'm so glad we connected during the Maul Years.

A smidge of Krimmus spirit

Just saw the end of Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer and felt the dread stirrings of the Krimmus Spirit. As soon as the commercials started, though, I lost it yooost like zat. But I'm really rather keen on hearing all the Whos down in Whoville sing Da Who Doray.
