Dear Santa... Dear Santa, This year I've been busy! In August I caught a purse-snatcher who stole voldsom's purse (30 points). Last Monday I punched wc_helmets in the arm (-10 points). In January on a flight to Vancouver, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). In February I broke bluestocking7's X-Box (-12 points). In July I helped paisleydaze hide a body (-173 points). Overall, I've been naughty (-205 points). For Christmas I deserve a moldy sandwich! Sincerely, Tinhuviel

   I already have ~ Barry Andrews ~ that's because I like to have intelligent conversation about life, the universe, and everything...and I like to face my fears head on.


2. on another plane, you're married with 3 children. boys? girls? combination of the 2? what are their names?
   Gabriel Sebastian (because that's my favourite Angel and I like the name Sebastian), Lirit Anastasia (Lirit is Hebrew for lyrical and I find that heartening. I'd want my daughter to be poetic. Anastasia always seemed regal, so that's why I picked it.), and Douglas Everette (Named for Dougie MacLean, my favourite Scots Folk singer, and my father, whose name runs in the family).


3. something that makes you laugh so hard you cease functioning properly

   Pay off my debts and move to England.


5. if you could have a ph.d in anything, what would it be and why?
   Quantum Physics. I believe that Quantum Physics is the key the Truth of Everything. It will merge science and religion and give all the answers we could ever dream of have questions for. I'd love to explore that realm and be a Magus of space and time.

Beat Poetry

So I have Orphaeus and Cadmus improvising a song on stage at one point in The Blood Crown. And, being the Method Writer that I am, I was improvising right along with them, writing out what they decided to sing as they sang it. This is what came out. I wrote this during NaNoWriMo, so I really don't remember writing it. That's how it is for me during NaNo. It's like Trance Writing or something. It's trippy, like an LSD experience or something. I dunno. But whatever, this sounds like something Mike Myers would read in a coffee house after marrying an ax murderer.

When all is dreaming out amongst the night, my dearest darlings
You and I, we're wont to fly, like wraiths and dreams,
delighted Darklings
When moon is bright with howl of wolf
And Piper's Gate at Dawn is locked
'Gainst all but the mad and lost
You and I, we're wont to dream, like flights of fancy
dark in the delights of our reverie
As ripples drawn against the reflection
Cast upon a secret sacred pool
We'll see the promise of all the delights
What the Earth has to offer
And those ripples go ever outward
Growing larger and taking in the whole of Creation
The ever-hungering Hermit who winds the clock
With utmost concern to be had.
