Another Prompt and Proofing

This came to me in the middle of the night as I lay half-awake in the dark: Corruption and blasphemy undulated from his being with every beat of his withered heart. I may use that with the prompt from a few days ago. If I keep going like this, I'll have a drabble comprised of nothing but prompts. That would be a first.

In other news, I'll be delving deeper into the the third draft manuscript of The Blood Crown and making changes where needed as suggested by The Mother Unit. I need to get this done so I can pass it on to gunslingaaahhh as I want to get the finished product to Sophie ASAP. Khanada is wanting to draw Cadmus and asked me if I had any suggestions for the picture. I mentioned that a crown of thorns in the background would be superb. If all turns out well, her picture will be the cover of The Blood Crown as she's already given me permission to use the picture however I want. Of course, I'll need to get written permission for Fey Publishing's records, but I don't foresee that being a problem. Things seem to be magickally coming together.

Serious Editing

If I am left to my own devices to where I can edit The Blood Crown like I did today, I should be finished with the third draft by next week. It's just a matter of maintaining my attention span and committing to the project with enthusiasm. I swear, the Mother Unit is one dedicated editor in her own right. She's made gunslingaaahhh's job 1000% easier this go 'round and I've already asked if she'd be interested in proofing The Augury of Gideon. To my joy, she said yes, so I'll be sending that file to her soon. Hopefully by next week, I can send the polished third draft of The Blood Crown to gunslingaaahhh. She's making a big move in February, so it may take her a while to get back to me. In the meantime, I may go ahead and send the third draft manuscript to Sophie as well just to see what she thinks of it. I'm impatient that way. I also need to collate the Shriekback lyrics used in the book and request written permission from Carl and Barry. This way, when Fey is ready to publish, everything will be sorted and in order, and the process will go as smoothly as I can manage on my end.
