Don't ever ever EVER let anyone in. You're setting yourself up for a world of hurt and set-backs. Nurse your anger and stop caring what people think. Carry this and you'll go far.

Date: 2009-08-10 08:29 pm (UTC)Gosh girl, that's a pretty bleak statement, is'nt it?
When we meet a person, we actually have very little FACTUAL knowledge about him/her, and as nature does'nt stand any vacuum, we fill the rest with hopes/wishes/dreams.
And in the end we many times stand there frustrated/angry/disappointed/heartbroken because things did'nt work out as we had hoped.
Hey, that's life!
To reach out is always taking a risk, but if we don't we would never connect to another human being.
Your unbearably sensible friend
