I'm celebrating my recent release from The Pit with a fantabulous sinus infection. My head feels like a gigantic balloon, stretched well beyond capacity. Muh. The grass still hasn't been mown ~ maybe this afternoon if I'm feeling better. I haven't been online since early Friday afternoon. Right before my exit interview, our server went down again, so I had no access. The Feudal Mistress was eager to see me go, so I left early Friday, shortly after 4 PM. Tomorrow or Tuesday, I have to go back and sign off on the rest of the paperwork. Then I wait approximately 2 weeks for my severance. This will prevent my going anywhere or doing anything until I have that money. Damn...another DragonCon missed.

I'm tempted to poke myself in the face with a safety pin, just to deflate a little. It may hurt, but it'd be worth it.

ALthough I will miss the fascinating posts about the Feudal Mistress, I am glad you have escaped. Hope your sinus stuff gets better so you can enjoy your newfound freedom more readily.

Did you see the comment I left you about DragonCon? Not sure if you'd still want to go with the sinus issues and all but I'm willing to help you out financially if you help me out with transport. Lemme know ;)

Hon, it's not looking good...I have too many things to wrap up here throughout this week and next. Also, I can't have you finance that trip completely, and I won't have any money until about mid-September.

As far as the money goes, paying everything would still be cheaper on me than paying for a bus ticket and I never said anything about having to pay me back :P

It was kind of a crazy idea anyway. My ass needs to stay at home.

Hmmm...we've got to start planning on going to DragonCon for next year. I have never been and I really want to go. It would be neat to meet you as well. :)
