I spent the majority of my early afternoon hanging out with the men of PaYne. I'd only met sifu_rick, so it was a seriously intense "get to know you" situation with the rest of the guys. Even though I'd heard a lot about sifu_joe for lo these many years, I'd never met him face to face until now. It was all just really very groovy! Chad was there with his dog Gary when I arrived. Of course, I hit it off immediately with Gary, so much so that Gary decided he wanted to get intimate. Silly dog. Brandon and Bug arrived a little later on and the boys began to jam. They sound fantastic live! If PaYne doesn't become ragingly successful, I shall be surprised and disappointed.

Oh, and it didn't hurt to be surrounded by such an abundance of fine male flesh. Oo La La! I should have gotten pictures, but I was too impressed to even think about my camera. There will be other photo ops, of that I have no doubt. Joe invited me to his son's Bar Mitzvah, but that's gonna be a in Raleigh, so I doubt I'll be able to make it. What a shame. I'd really like to attend. We compared our Star of David pendants and chit-chatted about Tradition and what-not. Joe is just uber-cool. A couple of weeks after the Bar Mitzvah, PaYne will be rehearsing again at Rick's place. I shall be there, camera in hand.

Hopefully by the end of the month, we'll have press kits ready to send out to hapless DJs and journalists nationwide. Then there will be no turning back.

I think that Chad is single, yeah. He's the one with the dog Gary, so he's okay with me.
