Aunt Tudi is waiting on Johnna to come pick her up. They're going to Gail's, a redneck bistro, to indulge themselves with fried chicken livers and sweet tea. It's gag-alicious!

[livejournal.com profile] clumsycake is due over around 12:30 for one of our infamous movie parties. She's bringing Christmas with the Kranks and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I'm providing snack and Pepsi, which is always necessary because [livejournal.com profile] clumsycake depends on Pepsi for her very survival.

We've had two thunderstorms in the past 12 hours. Thunderstorms...in late November... It's a sign of the Alpaca Lips, I just know it.

we also have had thunderstorms. My shadow was crazy when they started.
Didn't get much sleep last night. She was skeered of them.
Alpaca lips is coming surely!

Hmmm. You know we had thunderstorms last night, and my posters kept falling off the walls all night long...Then again, the poster thing could be blamed on poltergeist activity...or maybe psychokinetic abilities that I don’t know that I have, and the voices in my head are using them to act out as I haven’t been writing about them much...Not that I’m paranoid or anything.

Weird Weather Abounds...

We had snow so bad it closed I-70 both directions in the mountains.
We had snow and wind so bad it closed I-70 both directions from a mere 15 miles south of us all the way to the Kansas border. The wind was blowing trucks over on their sides. Last night, automobiles (only) were allowed to move westbound, so long as they had an escort from a Colorado DOT snowplow. (!)

But not *one* *single* *flake* at our house, sticking or otherwise.

Clumsy was there?? You and clumsy were in the same location and me without a smart bomb? Oh the pain of it all.

Of course if I had know you were serving Pepsi I would have first had to come inside and secure all your provisions as I am the only person on the planet more addicted to Pepsi than Clumsy.

Slap her in the head for me and tell her I said hello.

Do I understand from the above that you deliberately avoided the gastronomical excursion? Now, that's a *true* sign of the Alpaca Lips, if I have acquired a sister who doesn't adore fried chicken livers. (There's also a fabulous Venetian way of cooking them.)

We had a real live honest-to-goodness tornado on Sunday, and then it snowed Monday and today.
