After taking a nap under one of the end tables, Motley approached me of her own volition. She came up to the couch and placed her little front paws on the edge, looked up at me, and squeaked. When I picked her up, she started vibrating like a little motor and curled up in my lap. Since that time she has come up to my hand instead of running every time I blinked my eyes.

Honestly, I didn't think this would happen so quickly. It's like something just clicked in that little brain of hers and now she's digging me. She's still iffy with Aunt Tudi but only because I've handled her more over the past few days. Aunt Tudi has a trigger thumb at the mo which prevents her from handling Motley for any length of time. With time, this will change. I'm more confident about Motley's conversion now than I was just two hours ago.

Oh, while she was lying on me, she pooted. I heard this ever-so-slight "piffle," then was overcome with an odour that could surely be marketed as a weapon of mass destruction. My sense of smell isn't that good right now, thanks to the tracking ball in my head, but I could smell that. It burned away my Will to live.

Tomorrow she'll come out of the pen for good.

BWAHAHAHAAA!

Vash, my baby adoptee is a complete stinker. I don't think she farts as much as she's just a very musky little cat. I remember when she was getting to my sense of smell though. It was when I was carrying her small, fragile little body home for the first time, and she decided to bathe my face. I have no clue what the HELL that cat child had been eating, but my GOD. I suspect it was dead pigeons behind a dumpster. She's had a thing for licking ears and faces ever since. She sucks a certain blanket too. I've never had a blankie nurser befor. It's odd.

My son lives in a co-op in Chicago, and the cat on his floor does that --- nurses blankets/linens. I haven't seen it, he just tells me about this cat, 'cause she frequents his room. A tad disturbing...

godz, Tiger the Wonder Loaf used to unleash farts that would put a 15-year old coonhound to shame. seriously make your eyes water. i attributed it to the weeks he went missing in the worst winter Long Island had seen in 100 years and survived on rats and squirrels -- prolly picked up some interesting intestinal flora...

Probably so. I can almost smell him from your post! Motley is on meds right now and they're giving her loose stool and wicked fartage.

Nah, if you're going biomechanical, General Grievous is much hotter.

One of our dogs farts so bad it's like a sign of the alpaca lips! Like, she could be upstairs in the loft and we'd smell it all through the downstairs!

Verily, an ill wind blew and the four llama-men of the Alpaca Lips followed on it's heels.

loads of gas in a critter can generally be controlled/reduced by carefully changing their diet (SLOWLY or you'll make it worse!). vets also have 'bean-o' for pets.

She's currently on meds right now that give her gastric issues from Hell. Once she's through with that, we'll all breathe a lot easier....literally!
