Rainy days don't get me down, but Mondays do. It would be better if rain were pouring out of the endless sky!

So here am I at work again, wishing my lappy were functioning so I could do some of this stuff on the weekends. I have work to do, but not much, since almost everyone is on holiday, so I thought I'd write my update whilst I can.

I worked Friday night at the answering service. It was quite busy and heinous because the new girl didn't seem to want to work. Saturday at the service wasn't much better as every idiot in the Upstate decided to call their doctor/locksmith/HVAC guy/what-have-you and exhibit their stupidity for the world (or at least my world) to witness in horror.

But Saturday night was much better....Llewellyn came home to me again and we bathed in each other's passion until the wee hours, waking together to a wondrous breakfast courtesy of Aunt Tudi and then work on the garden. This is how it should be every day ~ not necessarily the breakfast...but the togetherness. If only that could be a reality.

Anyway, about the garden ~ it's a tardy garden, as we just got it tilled on Sunday. First, the tiller had to be started. I'd already changed the oil, but the gas was rather old....over a year old, so Llew and I both knew it wasn't going to be agreeable. Getting the tiller back out of the out-building was a feat in itself. I had to move some stored furniture to one side as it has slipped in the way. As I attempted to do that, a wasp got pissed off at me and decided to sting me on the hand. OW...it was the first time ever I'd been stung and, since half the family is allergic to bee stings, I had to watch myself carefully for about 30 minutes to make certain I didn't puff up and die.

About the same time I got stung, Llew pulled the tiller out of the building, but didn't realise the push mower was right behind him. It took his feet out from under him and he landed ~*plop*~ right on top of the mower, emoting a few colourful metaphors to express his discomfort.

Anyway, after about 20 minutes or so of Llew pulling the starter on the tiller til his arms almost fell off, it finally started and I began the tilling process. Since we've had no rain to speak of months, the ground was as hard as concrete and the tiller shook me till I thought my brains were gonna come out of my ears. But I got the spot tilled up and Llew and I retired to the coolness of the indoors to sip on some water and blow mud out of our noses. It looked like a storm was on the horizon so I was hoping we'd get rain before I planted the tomatoes. No such luck..it threatened the rest of the day and I didn't get a thing planted (I'll have to do it tonight) as a result.

So we were in the house, chatting and teasing, and that's when the phone calls began. 8 calls in the course of about 15 minutes, all of them restricted. I answered once and, again, it was nothing but freaky whispers and sounds of a news report or something. Llew answered once and gave 'Satan' a few choice words, but that didn't stop our harassing caller. He even left a voice message once and it was part of a TV advert that said "you hear a lot about reality TV. Well, here's reality"

I'm fairly spooked.

So far I've only just gotten these calls on the weekend, but I got one this morning too, and my phone rang again just now....so it seems I'll be going to Verizon today to see what can be done about this.

Well, I only have 3 days of work this week and Llew is returning to me on Wednesday evening. It's shaping up to a be a fruitful week and, if Satan will stop calling me, I think that everything will be utterly fantabulous.

You would do well to write a cease and desist letter to the Dark Lord. sacrifice a goat then dance in the blood..That should appease him.

I will call him and ask him to stop too!

Take care Grrrrl!
