After battling the last vestiges of a sinus infection, combined with car-crash soreness from Hell, I am emerging from the worst of it methinks.

Thanks to well-wishes from folks here at LJ, other online friends, family, friends, and coworkers, I feel pretty well-blessed. The folks at RLG even sent me a big bunch of flowers ~ very pretty! And Aunt Tudi says they smell wonderful. I can't smell a thing what with the plugged up nasal passages.

I'm still a little freaked out by the events. Thunder scared me this morning. It never has before.....::makes note to self to be wary of loud noises for a while:: I'm also having really violent nightmares. Two last night were particularly terrifying.

One was about this little girl who brought a bad report card to her redneck mom, who promptly started whipping her with a nylon belt in the play yard of the school. She was curled up on the foetal position as her mother whipped her mercilessly.

The other was about BA attacking me in a stairwell, his arm against my throat and his other fist back and aimed right at my face. I remember clearly his saying in a lowered, sultry voice, filled with malice "I think you know a little too much about me. That just won't do." And I woke up just as his fist moved to strike.

Llew seems to think this is my subconscious wrapping itself around the accident. Since he's been in a few accidents in his life, I tend to believe he knows what he's talking about. I'm glad he was with me last night.

Aunt Tudi and Llew got some photos of the car last night. As soon as I can transfer them to the computer, I'll post one or two of them here. O, my Robula is a nightmare to look at! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek.

If I get enough money on the car, and I think that I will since was insured to the teeth, I've decided to go for a Saturn Ion. I've already been told everything about this neat little car and it has all the same safety gadgets that my Robula had, plus a few more. What's so weird is that I'm a little anxious about getting behind the wheel again. I'm sure it'll pass, but right now, I'm a little wary.

In other news: Llew finally got the estate money with which he can pay his dad's last bills and take care of business. He can now go to Florida, which he intends to do first thing tomorrow morning. Deb will more than likely go with him, thankfully. This time, Llew will be gone for about a week. I miss him already.

Janice has volunteered to transport me to work and back until I can do better. She's also said she'll take Aunt Tudi to the doc's this next week. That's a relief.

Watched SW/EPII: Attack of the Clones day before yesterday. I saw it at the cinema and thought it sucked. After my second viewing, I've changed my mind. It doesn't suck...it blows! The special effects are wonderful, but that's all it has going for it. I'm not biased because Maul wasn't in it. I just think the storyline and acting left a lot to be desired. I hope EPIII makes up for the wretchedness of this movie. Shame on you George Lucas...

Okay, I'm still drugged up so I can write no more. Does this even make any sense?
