The subject line pretty much says it all.

A very pretty alpaca

Sheba lodged herself behind Aunt Tudi and proceeded to peek at me as though I were a menace. That's patently untrue.

Motley being a lazy little lout.

My right foot, just for kicks. (pun! ha!)

Aunt Tudi sitting in a normal-sized chair in the waiting room of my orthopaedist. At her tallest, Aunt Tudi was only 5'. She's shrunk about an inch now. Ain't she cute?

Aaaaand, the Prodigy. Just because I love them with every atom in my wicked little heart.

Aunt Tudi's almost my height now! ^_____^

It's one of the great ironies of life that one of the primary groups of women to come down with osteoporosis, or at least the age shrinking part of it, are... short women. My mum, topping out years ago at 4'9", has shrunk at least a couple inches since hitting the 'Pause -- I have a snap of me hugging her the last time I was in Vegas, and I felt like a fricken giant next to her at 4'10". Her bones are strong for 72, she's just shrinking. Guess I've got that to look forward to now meself, huh?

I imagined you as much taller, taller than I! Maybe it's because your personality is so big. :)

Nope, I'm of the tribe of Small, Fierce Women -- or Kiplings's "Little Folk (http://whitewolf.newcastle.edu.au/words/authors/K/KiplingRudyard/verse/p3/pictsong.html)", if one were to believe some of the stories I've heard about my mum's side of the family...
