My tongue after I decided to pretend it was a filet mignon at Steak and Ale during my unfortunate seizing interlude of Thursday evening.


A "Stop Obama" billboard. So far, my only beef with Barack Obama is his intent to expand the Faith Based Initiative bullfunky Dubya started. But, really, who the hell wants to stop Obama when our only recourse is John "Keating Five" McCain?


A South Carolina storm in the distance. Folks somewhere south of Duncan was getting the hell pounded out of them, poor souls.

It's healed remarkably well over the course of 40 hours or so. It feels lots worse than it looks now and that white spot is a dollop of infection that seemed unavoidable and feels heeeeedeous.

Now, aren't you glad you aren't incarcerated in South Carolina? The weather sucks, the social attitudes suck, the sucking sucks. Everything sucks!

Sadistic as it may sound, probably the best thing you can do to kill/ prevent infection is washing out your mouth with salt water every day. Its the only thing that works when my mouth gets ulcerated, and its a damn sight cheaper than the OTC crap that rarely ever works...

Oh yeah, I'm using salt water and Peroxyl many times a day. It's horrific, but necessary.

I really hate that sign. Not that I'm an Obama supporter (I dislike both McCain and Obama), but I just think that billboard is in really poor taste. Makes me glad I go south on 85 more often than north- don't gotta see it much.

Yeah. I think I phrased it weird...

I live off of the 290 exit. Most of my time is spent south of that. So I only see that sign when I've had to go north.

I don't like what Obama is planning on doing regarding Dubya's faith-based initiatives, but it still doesn't merit a snarky billboard (until after he does them).

That billboard's been up there for a while.

And Obama has started the true politician way of saying crap to try to appease everyone. Republicans dislike him because he's a Democrat. Now Democrats are disliking him because, to appease the Republicans, he's claiming he'll continue the faith-based initiatives, etc.


Just boils down to the usual: you can't trust a single thing he says anymore. Him or any blasted politician.

A-frickin'-men! But he doesn't deserve a snarky billboard until *after* he makes good on those faith-based initiative promises. If he does what he says he's gonna do regarding that, then *I'll* be the one making my own snarky billboard for Obama. And then you'll see me on the news, being arrested. Heh.
