Something doesn't add up

We're being told that, if Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac weren't bailed out yesterday, we would have been thrown into a brand new shiny Depression. Isn't that skipping a little technicality, like the recession our esteemed Führer denies we've been in for, oh....for as long as the bastard and his Nazi cronies have held our country hostage?

I've been corrected by News Goddess Aunt Tudi. Fannie and Freddie weren't bailed out. I thought they were. Maybe we're headed for that fun little Depression, after all. If it's a race, I've already beaten most folks to the finish line, except for maybe
