"Them Summer colds are the worst!"

Isn't that what Joe Bob Briggs says to one of the old guys in Arnette, Texas in The Stand? Not that I think Aunt Tudi has Captain Trips, but it sure looks like she's getting a cold. Her left tonsil is all red and swollen and she's slept the majority of the day, waking up only to cough her head off and slither to the bathroom. So far I'm not showing any signs of sharing her unfortunate ailment. Hopefully, it's only a mild thing that will pass soon and leave her in a relative one piece. With her lung problems, a cold can seem like a near death experience for Aunt Tudi when it's usually just a mild inconvenience for most everyone else. If she's worse tomorrow, I may put on some latex gloves and dip her sickly arse in a vat of orange juice.
