I have always adored Stephen Rea. He stars in one of my all-time favourite movies, Citizen X, which I have to watch at least once a week. He was also in a very small role in Interview with a Vampire. He played Santiago in the movie and was, by far, the shining star in what was an otherwise dreary adaptation of Anne Rice's novel. He was Oh Em Gee fabulicious as Santiago. That said, please admire my new icon. *glee*

Nice! I'll watch Stephen Rea in anything. Guinevere is one of my favorite films of his...and yes, he was the saving grace for Interview with the Vampire.

Mine too. He and Sarah Polley are magic.

It's refreshing to hear you say that about Interview With The Vampire (movie) - most people seem to like and, yeah, I guess it's ok, but compared to the novel it's nothing

I don't see how a Rice fan could think otherwise.

Loved Guinevere, but have yet to see V for Vendetta because I know that, when I do, my head will fly off.

Yes. It will.
Although I don't really remember him in it.
IwaV: although the casting was all wrong, I thought everyone was a good enough actor to redeem themselves -- except Brad Pitt, who was diabolically bad. But seemingly he can only act when playing a complete psycho.
