Feeling more kindly

I'm feeling more kindly toward the remake of Escape to Witch Mountain. Race to Witch Mountain features cameos by both Ike Eisenman and Kim Richards. That's pretty damned nifty, in my book. Although I do wish they'd make a movie based more closely on the book by Alexander Key. Whether that will ever happen remains to be seen, and it's probably a hope that's best tucked away in a dusty drawer.

Well, there's that at least to assuage the potential "raping my childhood".

I haven't read the book and I imagine I will be getting it soon. But those movies were the backbone to my early years. And I had a MAJOR crush on Ike Eisenman, so this will be interesting to see. ::is nervous::

I'm actually looking forward to it. I loved the originals as a kid, and feel better know it isn't an exact remake. (Those tend to disappoint me much more.) The effects look cool, and of course it has Dwayne in it, so that is already a good step in the right direction (I figure even moreso for you, eh?).

I remember the original well, quite enjoyed it as a kid; thought the sequel sucked donkeys.

Not sure about a remake with The Rock though...
