I don't even know what to think of the series finale, but I'm so glad to see Baltar and Six back together and finally acknowledging their inner angels. And Baltar's speech was breathtaking, and I loved how he alluded to the Triskele mystery of Birth, Death, and Rebirth. It only has 30 minutes to go. I'm just wondering when I'm gonna give in and start squalling like a miserable child.

Yes. To everything you said.

Break the cycle. does the pattern have to repeat itself? Oh. Shit. Yes.

Loved how it ended with the Goddess and God discussing such cycles. I'm editing the body of the text to warn of spoilers because of my response to you here, but it just had to be said!

I would never have thought about it that way had it not been for Gaius' comment about god not liking that 'name' or whatnot. I'm not paraphrasing very well, am I?

Funny though, or sad depending on your point of view, what the goddess described as Probability in an oft repeated cycle eventually producing success is remarkably similar to a long accepted lay definition of insanity:

Repeating the same cycle of events over and over and expecting a different result.

Which proves my own Sithly brand of faith: we're all born of darkness and insanity, the product of a deity that exploded itself in the hope that all the pieces would bring back some sort of knowlege that would help it figure itself out.

A great journey

Well, I thought it was great - not as wonderful as I hoped, but then maybe I was expecting too much. I'll wait until I've watched it again before I draw any definite conclusions.

I know a lot of people thought it was a cop-out, but it worked well enough for me. The Baltar/6 angels (if that's really an accurate description) made perfect sense to me and explained a lot of earlier stuff.

Sorry to see the old girl go, but it's been a great ride.

I'm just wondering what there is decent to watch now that BSG is gone. And this is coming from someone who was deadset against it because of her precious 70s version being trashed out.

You have "The Plan" to look forward to this fall (which you'll probably like better since it's from the cyclon point of view).

This show ending is the biggest reason I wanted to hold off scalling back to just the local channels on my Satellite bill until I found a job.
