This is promising to be a fantastic series. I suggested everyone watch it and hope it all comes to pass. Whee!

They're making that into a series? I saw the 2 hour special when it was first on. I was disappointed. Maybe serializing it will kick it up a notch.

I recorded a bunch of other alpacaliptic specials - a Nostradomus 2012, a Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and something else back when they had a 2012 week. They did a pretty good job on them all except for one that had way too much input from those stupid "Left Behind" dudes.

Oh I can't stand the Left Behind writers, even though we do share a common vision regarding the End Times (that is, we're certain it'll happen. But they think humanity will survive and party with Jesus after all the bad people are wiped off the face of the Earth. I think all the non-human Earthlings will party up after we're ALL wiped off the face of the Earth. Just a tiny idealogical difference).

Watch me ramble!

It amuses me no end that the series is sponsored by Febreeze.

A series? I loved the special, found it relaxing and comforting, but surely a series is akin to chill-out music?

I take it back. Having watched the episode trailers, Nuclear Winter and Trash are NOT comforting, but depressing. (Plague is good, though.)
