[Error: unknown template qotd]Below is my very first post, written in "The Pit" in between projects from hell that meant nothing to anyone. Talk about spinning your wheels! At least I was making good money doing it, even if it was making me slowly lose my mind (thus the name I gave this blog). When I wrote those words below, I never thought that this blog would become so important to me, nor did I ever conceive that the people I met here would prove to be precious and indispensable parts of my life. There were days when writing on The Cliffs of Insanity prevented my doing something criminally insane, so I'm very thankful to Mmmmmm (sri3m) for harassing me until I finally gave in and joined LJ. I grieved for so long when she left this place and, even though we're still sporadically in touch, I miss her presence here deeply to this day. So there you have it.

Sr13M invited me to this happy little place where I can post my 'innermost motivations' for all to see. Since I have only teeny bits of time, this may seem aggravatingly sparse at times, but I promise to keep it as current as is inhumanly possible.

Yeah, my mom doesn't get it that online friends can mean something to you. She's like "These aren't real friends." I know what she's trying to say, but it's clear she doesn't get it. I can't explain it so she understands. Oh well.

I just joined to read fan fics. Oh, yeah I just remembered last night that my introduction to fan fiction was with Pitch Black and Vin Diesel's character Riddick and not TDK like i originally told you. I forgot all about until I found some of the stories I'd printed out in 2000-2001. Man I read some dirty fics during that run. This one in particular, I'll pass it along. It's great.

Please do! I read a few crossover slash fics that involved Riddick and Darth Maul. Talk about freaky! Anything having to do with Vin Diesel is a beautiful thing to me.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Oh my god ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ XD ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Oh my god ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I found it online.

Just like my introduction to Joker fiction was with one of the best comicverse Joker authors out there back in June 2008, I had the same luck with Riddick fan fiction in 2000 with THIS (http://www.shazrolane.com/PitchBlack/interim1.html) story being the first I read about him. To me it is so good. Well, written and hot. It has an OC that really works and since Riddick is the anti-hero and not flat out evil, it's easier to pair him with a lady believably.

I think that I'll be watching 'Pitch Black' tonight instead of TDK. I watch a movie every night as I go to sleep. TDK has been that movie since late December.

It's back to 'Pitch Black' for now.

I just read that story again. I still like it after all this time.

I used to do that. I find it soothing to fall asleep to movies or TV. That's how I saw the first 2 Harry Potter movies more than 100 hundred times each. They were good to fall asleep to.

Pitch Black is a good film. I remember when I dragged a guy friend of mine to see it and the girls (myself included) in the theater were making all of these approving grunts and comments any time Vin was on screen. The guys in the theater were pissed. My friend wouldn't let up about how unsatisfactory he thought Vin was for the several years it took me to get over my Vin crush. I just tortured him with Pitch Black pic spam emails and dirty PB fics. Good times.
