HYMN TO ASET

Your holy Eye rests upon me in the velvet of night.
You have taken me in your eagle's wings.
Your lions have devoured me.
You are the promise of life.
You are the Throne of the World..
The winds are Your song, the evening is Your stronghold.
Rubies and sapphires rest upon Your starry brow.

You smile at me, gently embracing my spirit,
Binding my magicks to Yours, and in You shall I repose
Peaceful as pyramids.

Have you read Lucius Apuleius's "The Metamorphoses" (aka "The Golden Ass")? It's a great book, and has some wonderful Isis stuff at the end:
