I'm looking for a way to print postcards on my printer or for a cheap postcard printer. Does anyone out there have any ideas that could point me in the right direction?
Can't you just buy some postcard stock paper and run through? Kind of like the business card stock that you can get in a big sheet and then break apart? Check the office supply section, near where the labels, etc are sold.
I've decided to go with mini-flyers made of card stock so they won't have to be 2-sided. I've designed the flyer and am waiting for the okay from the publisher. Once I have that, all I'll have to get is an extra printer cartridge and the card stock. I'll get two flyers per page. Pretty niftic.
Do you think flyers could work as well, say half-size flyers? Everything I see is going to cost me money; however, I already have a printer and paper and could create a pile of flyers. What do you think?
Anything would be fine. Everyone that markets at D*Con uses everything from flyers to postcards to bookmarks. :)
Half size would probably be best. Especially if you can print them on heavier stock. They have display tables outside all the panel rooms & in the main walkways at all the hotels. Usually we just drop some off at all the locations. I'll especially target the Dark Fantasy & Writer's track panels. :)
