Ocean in October

Well, I just scheduled a week's vacation from 13 October til 17 October. If all goes well, Llew, Aunt Tudi, and I are returning to Charleston to visit with the father figure and spend an ungodly amount of time on the beach. Yes, it will be cooler and probably blustery, but that's how I like the ocean. Besides there will be fewer people with which to contend and that's just fine by me.
So now I need to start saving my dough and work over as much as I can in preparation for The Event (tm).
I can hardly wait to get back to Mother Ocean.

The only time I met the ocean it was cold and cantankerous and I was always grateful I got it that way, because that's the way I've always wanted it to be.

Oh, October is the best! My father and stepmother used to go to the Outer Banks every October. It's a great time.

Living here (of course, this one is too calm) I had decided it was forests I needed to be near instead. Today I finally reconnected with the sea -- but that's another story.
