Just 30 minutes ago the sun was out. Now we have torrential rain and thunder. Don't get me wrong...I loooove stormy weather but, when my grass is growing so rapidly you don't need stop motion photography to see the growth rate and everything is just a little too green...rancidly green...overly rotteningly fertile, enough is enough for crying out loud!
We went from a 'my cheeks are sunk in I'm so thirsty' 4 year drought to 'oh no, there's goes my car into the river!' overabundance of water. From Arrakis to Caladan. From rattlesnake to slug.
Enough of the metaphors. I need to go wring out my hair.
