New Years Resolutions

I have some for 2012. I usually don't make resolutions, but this year is different. Everything is different. So here goes.

• Continue to work on getting my writing Mojo back, and continuing the tales of The Harming Tree


• Reestablish and maintain better communication with friends on and offline.


• Make at least one major road trip.


• Exercise more, after the knee replacement ('cos then I will be able to!)


• Come to grips with the domestic aspect of my life now.


• Seriously look into creating a record label...and signing Bruce and Barry.


• Expand the First Church of the Alpaca Lips.


• Work at promoting 'The Blood Crown.'


• Get 'The Augury of Gideon' ready for publishing.


• Watch any Tom Hardy movies/shows I can lay my paws on.


• Eat more organic foods.


• If it's even possible, listen to more Shriekback music than I did in 2011. (that's gonna be nigh to impossible, but we'll see)


• Learn more about Chaos Magick and use the mad skillz to ensure the coming of the Alpaca Lips in 2012.

So. That's it. Here goes nuttin'.

Friend my singing teacher, Helen Webb, on FB and then drop her a line about setting up a record label. She should be able to give you a few pointers about where to start. You could also ask Ricky Graham, another friend of mine - he used to be in music, although he got tired and went into property for a while. The last I heard, he was going to be setting up a label so he might also have a few words of wisdom for you.

I love, love the idea of a record label. Talk about a dream job for someone with all the qualifications. You've been promoting artists all along - may as well do it with the clout and credibility of a record label to back you up. Triscele Music?
