tinhuvielI just got the most unexpected phone call. My Aunt Felice called me, wanting to patch things up and begin again. I told her that was fine, but she still needed to talk to Aunt Tudi, since it was Aunt Tudi with whom she went postal. Felice said she'd call Aunt Tudi tonight.
When I told her it was all OK, she got all verklempt. My Aunt Felice is the original Linda Richman, the Coffee Talk Lady. She gets emotional over the slightest thing (not to say this was by any means slight) and just emerses herself into The Moment. It's like buttah!
So she's going to email me and catch me up on the Manheim side of the family. Seems much has been going on in the heart department. Felice has had 2 strokes and 2 stints and Cookie has had bypass surgery. OK, so coronary disease runs on both sides of the family... I did not know this.
More reason to run (or limp) off and get this surgery** before my heart explodes and takes out innocent bystanders.

**speaking of surgery, I go for my consult with Dr. Ross today. I really hope things start going quickly from here...
