Thanks to the slightly uncomfortable cold weather, D and I resorted to wearing hats to keep our brainpans from collecting permafrost. It turns out, such activity turns us into Pop Culture icons. For reference, please take a gander at Charlie's legendary Winter cap. As for my headgear, I'm thinking it speaks for itself.

Date: 2018-01-04 09:55 pm (UTC)$11-$15, depending on size. Pretty sure I ordered "medium" for myself.
Balaclava for the head (I don't have one yet, but I'm likely to get silk, since I have solid-fabric headgear. I linked you the polyester since it'll hold heat better with wind.)
They do make silk thermal shirts and pants, but (1) pricing on those will vary quite a bit, and (2) SIZE will vary widely depending on what country they're coming from. Anything specifically "asian sizing" may - or may not - work out at all. I'm a 38" shirt, and that's a 4XL in asian sizing....
So, a lot of that will be YMMV, and ALWAYS check size charts.
There are sock liners, but I'm still investigating those, so I don't have recommendations on that yet.

(I actually have one of these instead of the Yukon version, since they didn't have the Yukon's yet when I ordered mine)
I thought glove liners would be a good start, and they're fairly inexpensive - so while the rest of you might be a bit chilly, at least your fingers would still work for things like keys. :) Mine tend to....well...feel like they're freezing in place, and not want to bend. So. I keep my hands as warm as possible in the winter seasons.
