tinhuvielSo I heard on the radio about this teacher in Florida who duct-taped some kids to their desks because they refused to stop running amok. Now the parents are all a-dither wanting the teacher reprimanded, if not fired.
Excuse me? I think more of these little parasites should be administered duct tape punishment. Yeah, I call them parasites. Most people call kids like this 'heathens' or 'cretins', but I don't subscribe to those so-called insults. When you think about it, why would any self-respecting Pagan call another person a heathen and mean it as an insult? Or a Cretin for that matter?
The reason why these terms are considered insults is because the 'Status Quo' considered calling a person a Pagan was the greatest affront one could use. Essentially, a heathen is a Pagan, and a Cretin is a citizen of Crete, a place famous for being one of the last strongholds of Goddess-worship and Paganism in the latter days of such practices. Bleh.
And that brings me to other insults or insulting names. Women have lots of derogatory names attributed to their persons. There's bitch, slut, whore, skank, yadda yadda yadda. But what about men? If you call a man a bastard, that's just insulting his mom and calling her a whore. If you call him a son of a bitch, you're simply throwing a slur at his mom. Hell, even calling him a 'woman' is really an insult to women because you're essentially saying that a woman is less than a man. Sheesh... Aren't there any male-centric insults out there?
But I digress. These little parasites that will inherit the Earth need a bit more duct tape in their lives. If I ever made the horrible mistake of procreating, I'd have a lifetime supply of duct tape on hand. I'd give teachers permission to tape their little asses all over the school if need be.
I applaud this teacher for doing what most teachers should have the free reign to do whenever the unruly beasts get out of hand. The problem with kids today is that they're molly-coddled way too damned much. I'm not saying beat the things, but a bit of real punishment here and there instead of that ridiculous time out shit would do not only them some good, but it would also do us childless victims who have to put up with these animals a world of good.
My Yorkshire Terrier is better behaved than some kids I have the misfortune of knowing. Like my cousin's middle child. If ever a kid was begging for a whole damned roll of duct tape, this one is. He needs to be put in a cage until he turns 18, then he needs to be transferred to a deserted island so he can self-destruct without putting hapless strangers in danger.
I cheer the actions of this Florida teacher. May her example be followed by legions of other weary, put-upon educators who go unappreciated and stripped of any power to keep control over their class rooms.
