tinhuvielThe conversation with Johnna went better than expected. At least it's done and over, and I can relax a little. Despite my proclivity for Sithliness, I do really dislike confrontation, conflict, and other similar situations in which I am forced to get snotty. Regardless of what I say or how I say it, I think I am a pretty decent soul underneath it all. ....or I may just be deluding myself. Whatever.
Chester has finally come to accept Riley into our humble home. He's also taken to playing with the new baby in the front yard. It's the damnedest thing I've ever seen. It's like a toy Ewok chasing a black noodle with legs. I think that, eventually, the two dogs will become fast friends.
Llew is having sinus issues and is trying to recover from this before he comes back home. I took him some Gatorade and a pack of cigs after work. We chatted for about 15 minutes, then I had to go; however, I promised him I would see him tomorrow.
My left shoulder and neck is pretty tight and achy. Geez, I hope I'm not about to have an episode like I did in August with my right shoulder. That was the most hideous thing I'd ever endured, besides my flambodious butt surgery. At least with that I had Demerol and loads of it. Yay! ....I am not a drug addict, but Demerol rocks, especially when you're in unbearable pain.
I have some tasks to which I need to attend, then it's off to the shower. After that, if I'm not too terribly weary, I believe I'll reconnect with SW: EP1, but just the Darth Maul scenes. It's going to be an early and difficult day tomorrow. Loads to do at work and a morning appointment with the nutritionist to squeeze in there somewhere.
