Milk and Bread

Both will be stripped from the shelves of every grocery by 9 PM tonight. The meteorologists are forecasting freezing rain and sleet starting around midnight tonight and lasting all day tomorrow, so the entire Upstate will be storming grocery stores for the two items imperative for full Winter Event preparation: MILK and BREAD.

This phenomenon still fascinates me.

Sometimes it's actually fun living in the South.

Well, crud. I have been postponing the trip to the grocery store until I finished my last assignments. I did that today. We have almost no food in the house. I guess I will have to fight the mobs!

Fraid not. :-) My husband and I are both very attached to our little monster. Her name is Aelfgifu (Old English for Elf Gift). She appeared on our deck in early June. The photo was taken a few days after she arrived. She is now about 6 months old and has quite an attitude! Still adorable though!

I love her! I wish I could have a kitty in my dorm. That would make all my roommates and I very happy. We found one and saved her, but found her another home. The fines for breaking that rule are huge!
