1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Engaged in retribution magick.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No, thanks to my insurance company and yes, I'm making the same resolution for 2004.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Our dog Daisy.
5. What countries did you visit?
0, zip, nato, nada.
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
Hope, Health, and Happiness
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
30 September, 2003. That was the day Llew had his plane crash and scared 10 years off my unlife.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Keeping my job despite a foul business climate and an even worse attitude.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not getting the surgery.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I had a car accident in February which caused a severe upsurge in my depression. Migraines from hell. Oh, and my left knee fell off (not really, but it feels like it).
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Can't say as I've bought anything so impressive that I can remember it.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Aunt Tudi's and Llew's. Their constant love and unwavering support never cease to amaze and humble me.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Melanie's and Billy's.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Bills, bills, emergencies, more bills and bills. Did I mention bills?
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
When I found out that The Pit was changing insurance companies from Cigna to United Health Care. The decision will probably literally save my life.

Singing at church tonight for Solstice, wishing I had candles for my menorah, and sleeping as much as I can on the two days I'll have off for Xmas.

Stephanie, hands down. The woman is a phone goddess.

Hundreds of times and all with the same man.

"Stargate SG-1" has got to be it.

I can't pick just one. I'll have to go with two SETS of books. 1) The Harry Potter novels. They quite simply rocked my socks. and 2) The Sleeping Beauty series by Anne Rice. Almost every sentence of those books made my knickers do the Charleston.

Audioslave.
28. What did you want and get?
Love and assurance.
29. What did you want and not get?
Some time at the ocean.

"The Two Towers" (I saw it in January, so there.)

I turned 36. Llew came over and he, Aunt Tudi, and I had a quiet dinner and enjoyed each others' company.

Having my surgery.

Anything that would fit and be comfortable.

Oddly enough, venting in this Live Journal thing.

Dave Matthews as far as celebrity. Not-so-famous anymore: Barry Andrews, hands down.
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Dubya's systematic disassembly of our rights while he keeps our short attention spans busy with Operation Enduring Freedom. What a fucking joke.
37. Who did you miss?
Timothy and Todd on a regular basis.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
I don't think I met any new people this year except for the ones online and I'm not picking just one out of the crowd. They're all the best in my book.
