tinhuvielI saw the holiday in with watching a documentary on JRR Tolkien. It doesn't get much better than that.
Someone in the neighbourhood got a stereo system for Xmas and decided to wake us all up to share in the joy. How festive! At least whatever he was playing had a good beat. It's not all bad to wake up with your toes tapping a rhythm.
Llew is going to attempt to visit sometime today. Whether or not he comes in remains up for debate since our respective family's are currently plague-ridden.
Aunt Tudi is feeling some better today. Yay!
I'm going to try to be upbeat for my loved ones on this day. Why should my sour outlook on Xmas ruin it for anyone else? Here I go, painting on a big fake smile. Wow! I look like a model in a Christmas advert for a major shopping chain. Gee, I should fit right in now. Where's my Santa hat?
