The Rover Has Stopped
Jan. 22nd, 2004 03:08 pmAt least that's what *They're* telling us. According to *Them*, the Rover has stopped moving and is no longer transmitting pictures to us from Mars.
Here's what I think really happened. The Rover finally took a picture of a real live Martian and *They* don't want us to know about it so, instead of carrying on and being honest, *They're* telling us that the project has now failed.
Damn *Them*. Damn *Them* all to hell!

Date: 2004-01-22 04:17 pm (UTC)I happen to have a friend on the inside, and he told me that what they found was a Democratic Martian, and it's entirely too close to the polls for that sort of thing to be brought up.
Realistically, if they can't make a legal system that's legal, a judicial system that's just, traffic laws and enforcement that work--what makes you think that we can keep some superhightech thingamabob up and running for more than forty seconds on the surface of another planet?
