Here's how it works (but it only works if you've been with LJ for quite a while):
Go back a year ago today and copy that post; then go back another year and do the same, etc. etc., as far back as you can. If you haven't had one for a whole year, go back to your first post and use that, then go halfway between then and now and post that.
