Whine

The Feudal Mistress just approached me about the temp coming in tomorrow. She's wanting me to train her for the most part. I can't really complain since she'll be here to help while I'm away, but still..... when do I have the time to train someone? Better question still: where will I find the patience needed to train someone?

Anyway, the Feudal Mistress gave me a long list of things the temp needed to know before my medical leave kicked in, then she said in the her whiniest voice, "I don't want you leave!" I told her I wish I could say I didn't want to leave, but it'd be a lie. She thought I was talking about looking forward to the surgery, which I am, but I was really talking about getting the hell away from the Pit for a month.

I know I will awake in the dead of night, a cold sweat gripping my body, as the whine of my Feudal Mistress echoes in my tormented brain....."I don't want you to leave!"

What her whine is really saying is "Oh dear, I don't want Tin to leave because I'll have extra work to do training this temp and this is really messing me up" Fie on her, stupid Feudal Mistress.
