I am watching my very first reality television show and it's the Science Fiction Channel's fault. Mad Mad House is too fascinating for it's own good and I feel quite sullied and herdlike for having succumbed to my curiousity.

After the show, I'm going to dash out of the house and into the front yard, bleating like the frickin sheep I obviously am.

I saw that last week. The Vampire dude, Don, is too much. I think he watched too much of that Saturday Night Live skit with Chris Kattan and Molly Shannon as the Goth Kids. But strangely enough, he has to have a good sense of humor. I am liking Fiona though.

Don't fight it. It'll get us all eventually. Just let it all wash over you.

I got quite addicted to Big Brother last year.

I try to keep it to the ones involving a) real talent (Fame Academy), b)genuinely interesting psychology (Big Brother, occasionally), or c)genuinely interesting sociology (the 50s school- can't remember the name of it, Regency House Party).

Some of them over here are smack on the borderline between reality TV and serious psychology experiments (50s school, Carrot and Stick --that's American, isn't it?)

But then you get the weird dating ones. Yuck.
