Attack of the Cube Man
Mar. 12th, 2004 09:43 amOkie-dokie, so here's the scoop. Today, I have an album service for a new artist at RCA by the name of Cassidy. The service is quite large, exceeding 9000 pieces. I only have 1500 pieces for fulfillment.
What do I do? I call Inventory Control in Indianapolis to see when the rest of the stock is due in, hoping it's sometime today since we have to mail everything out today. Brian was rather alarmed at my question and informed me that no more inventory was due in to us.
Why?
Well, the Cube Man contacted Inventory Control on 27 February and told Brian to reduce his original order of 10k to 2500 because 10k was too much. Ohhhh man, is he in deep shit or what?
This service is going to sit here for days after it was supposed to ship and it's all the Cube Man's fault. I'm so hoping that this earns him his well-deserved and long-overdue walking papers.
And this ass-hat had the audacity to call me inept. He's going down, I just feel it!
