Years ago I bought a "Starlog" magazine because I wanted to read the Dr. Who article enclosed. It was issue #79, with Jeanette Goldstein on the front. Over the years, I would check the back issue availability and began to notice that this issue was climbing steadily in price. The last time I was able to find it in the back issue section, it was up to $175.00. Now, it's no longer available from Starlog and I'm wondering how that now affects the value of the magazine I have, which is in almost perfect condition...

If it's unavailable, it means that Starlog doesn't have enough to distribute them any more. The value just shot up for your copy...

Sorry

It't only worth what people will pay for it. :( I had the same problem with a lot of our Magic:TG cards. Ebay changed everything as far as collectable items go.

wait - that's not jeanette goldstein but it does appear to have the Dr. Who article? Is yours a different edition?

I'm a moron. Mine is #115. That and 79 were always the highest in price in the back issue section of the mag. I need to dig it out and make certain it's still OK.

#115 does seem to go for more than #79 - one is starting at $60 -- but hten someone else has 113 114 115 starting at $5 -- who knows what they'll go for
