Friends

Just for the record...I have not seen one bloody episode of "Friends"...NOT ONE! And I'm very smug and self-satisfied about that fact.

This whole "Friends" frenzy that's currently going on in the US is more than a little disgusting, considering all the more important issues at hand, like the fact that no one wants to be our friend anymore for a number of valid reasons, the worst of which is our idiot dictator.

Fuck Rachel.
Fuck Ross.
And, if you're a member of the thundering herd that will be glued to your TV set tonight....well, just follow the aforementioned verbal trend.

I take it as a matter of personal pride that I haven't seen a single episode. Looks like I dodged that bullet for good :D

I know I was forced to watch parts of episodes but every time I try to remember them they resolve into episodes of Seinfeld or Dharma and Greg, which are two more shows I really hate. I hate most episodic tv sitcom or drama. But that's me.

I will NOT be watching tonight. I did watch the first season, but I found it insipid and insulting...

So, no...my lemming ass will be watching Survivor... ;-) (which is alsi insipid and insulting, but it doesn't pretend to be otherwise and in many ways, it's an anthropologist's wet dream)

I've never liked Friends. I've always found it to be lowest-common-denominator stuff, and very unfunny.

My brother tried to get me into it, by making me watch what he thought were some of the best episodes, but failed.
