Just minutes after Shannon tells me of this super-rich family in Florida that are beating their dog on a regular basis, June comes over showing off her lifelike sleeping cat decorations made of farm-raised rabbit fur.

Humans suck so much.

eeeewww. i *hate* those cute-animals-made-of real-fur things. they disturb me, and make me kind of ill.

They make me want to shove the "cute little things" up the arses of the people who buy them. grrr....

Maybe they ate the rabbits -- you can buy rabbit in any large supermarket over here. And I will wear or use any skin/fur (eg leather) if the animal has been eaten.
