I went back to The Pit today to find my desk and chair piled with work that had not been done in my absence. As I was sorting through it, the Feudal Mistress comes up and proceeds to guilt me for being gone for two days, telling me how horribly busy it was and how Joanie was also sick, but couldn't even get a doctor's appointment.

Later in the day, the Feudal Mistress goes up to Joanie's desk and asks if she needs any help, knowing that I'm beyond overloaded and still sick myself. She then barely pauses at my cube, just long enough to make sure I'd seen her, and goes back to her office.

Fuck you, Mistress. Fuck this job. Fuck The Pit and everyone it in. Fuck every damned body. I would not have been absent had I not been deathly ill. I'm the last person who enjoys coming back to Hell on Earth because no one does my work when I'm not here. I think that, if I'm this sick next month, I shall come to work and just bleed all over everything. Let them pay to have my chair cleaned! Let them pay me my salary for sitting here doubled over and vomiting in my waste basket because I can't make it to the restroom that's a half a football field away. Let them pay for a paramedic to come check me out because I passed out when I stood up.

Fuckers.

Bastards. That's so typical - no one would give a shit whether you died or not, but they have lots of fun guilt-tripping you.

Although giving everyone cheery smirks when they're trying to guilt-trip you is always fun.
